Addiction Counseling Services of Colorado

LEVEL1 and LEVEL 2 EDUCATION

Level 1 Education is conducted over a 6-week period, 2 hours per week.
Level2 Education is conducted over a 12-week period, 2 hours per week. It is the very minimum number of classes that everyone will be required to complete.

We conduct all of our Level 1 and 2 Education classes on a therapeutic platform, so you are not feeling stuck in a classroom environment. While we are required to cover specific curriculum by the state of Colorado, we accomplish this through a fulfilling, meaningful and motivating discussion each week that will answer all your questions, regarding DUI laws, effects of drugs and alcohol, what to expect when moving through the court system and many more interesting topics that are relevant to your situation. Most of all, it will provide exceptional support from the therapist and group members! We share our experiences and combine our information to build confidence in moving forward.

LEVEL 2 THERAPY

After completing Level 2I Education you will move forward to Level 2 Therapy. This is also conducted via ZOOM and in a therapeutic setting. You will most likely see familiar faces, peers who you had already created relationships with while in Level 2 Education. You will NEVER feel alone.
You will learn how to deal with anxiety, depression, communication skills, relationship skills, mindfulness practices, achieving happiness and many more available tools that will help you become the very best version of yourself.
Level 2 therapy will be anywhere between 21 and 43 weeks, 2 hours per week.
Discussions are based on client-centered topics, cognitive behavioral therapy, exceptional support and taught the tools to become the best version of yourself.

ENHANCED OUTPATIENT TREATMENT - RELAPSE PREVENTION-CBT/DBT

Sometimes probation will require you to complete additional therapy based on your success and compliance. These groups are peer groups that are higher level and an extension of therapy to help navigate the journey beyond the Level 2 therapy requirement.

INTERLOCK ENHANCEMENT COUNSELING

(IEC) is a 5-week program for those who have the interlock system installed in their car to meet the requirements of the DMV. This once-a-month program will provide insight into the psychological aspect of repetition to captivate positive change as well as the proper use of the device. The IEC class may be taken congruently with the Level 2 program and will help to expedite the program completion.

Mental Health/Substance Use Disorder Evaluations

We will conduct court ordered and DMV required evaluation through telehealth. They are conducted in a timely manner and are focused on your wellness and successes, not your mistakes. We conduct fair, thorough and timely evaluations to move you forward in this process.

Private One on One Therapy

Private therapy is conducted via telehealth. It is always your safe place and we are your safety net! Our goal is for you to grow, heal, learn and become the best version of yourself!

FOUR PLUS THERAPY - 4 or more offenses over a lifetime

The Track F, Four Plus program is for those who have 4 or more offenses over a lifetime. It is a higher-level therapy program that lasts a minimum of 18 months and is based on the client progress. There are few programs in Colorado that are specially licensed to conduct this program. We are fully licensed for this program and have a variety of available group days and times to meet your busy schedule.

Getting my DWAI was a frightening experience filled with a lot of tough questions and many steps in order to get my life back on track. Luckily, I signed up for my classes and therapy with ACSC. Mindy is an absolutely amazing therapist with a very open mind and tremendous experience and knowledge. The groups were well run and very helpful, informative and therapeutic. They really made me go from feeling afraid, lost and alone, to realizing that I am not the only person going through this ordeal and I truly did have support. Mindy and the group walked me through the entire process, from getting my license back, finding an interlock, discussing addiction and life issues, the court system, and ultimately becoming a better person.
